She has over 25 years of experience in a variety of senior management roles within the foodservice, hospitality and consumer goods industries. Her intimate understanding of the operational functions of these industries, accompanied with vast leadership experience allows Cindy to relate to any development workshop, keynote address or coaching opportunity.

Cindy is an expert in sales force transformation, emerging leader development, and the enhancement of organizational talent in the areas of communication, coaching, and performance management. She is known for her charismatic, creative and highly engaging training style.  Her candor, energy and insights provide participants with relevant concepts and the simple, yet effective strategies to apply them.

Cindy is committed to elevating talent within the hospitality and consumer goods industries.  She currently sits as a member of the Academic Advisory Board for the Humber College Hospitality and Tourism Programs.  She is a founding member of the Canadian Women’s Foodservice Forum which actively works to provide learning and networking opportunities for future women leaders.


bio-laura170Lauren Novak is a member of the CL Network team as a Junior Facilitator for the “Communicating with Confidence” workshops. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Lauren received an Honours International Development degree with a minor in Geography and Environmental Management. Lauren recently completed an 8 month volunteer placement with a Financial Non-Governmental Organization in Tamale, Ghana. Her passions are focused around community development and social responsibility determined to make sustainable and positive change. As a facilitator, Lauren in known for her positive energy and dynamic training sessions.

With more than 25 years working at industry giants such as Campbell Soup Company, Maple Leaf Foodservice and E. & J. Gallo Winery, Jane brings a wealth of practical experience and knowledge to her coaching.  Jane’s positive energy, compassionate listening and clear communication ensure quick and efficient results for clients who are looking to move to the next level of their career.

On a personal note, Jane’s passions are her family, friends, food, fitness and having fun.  Her two, very active boys are her inspiration for continued self-discovery.
